Kemik is a mayan word which means "to weave." Our Kemik collection is part of a collaboration with a group of weavers near Lake Atitlan. These bags are made with 100% hand woven organic cotton and are trimmed with genuine leather. The colors are made with non toxic natural dyes. By carrying this bag you are prolonging the life and culture of Guatemala. Each bag is signed by the artisan who constructed it. Available in three color combinations. We recommend spot cleaning only.
