Ethical Coffee

Unfortunately, the coffee industry is one that has consistently exploited cultures around the world. If you aim to live a sustainable and ethical lifestyle, vetting where your coffee comes from is a great place to start. And of course, a bag of coffee beans makes for a great stocking stuffer for just about anyone, am I right? Here are a few of our favorite coffee companies that source and roast their coffee sustainably and ethically:

Peixoto Coffee Roasters - beans come directly from a family-owned farm in Brazil,  You can view their full transparency report here

Cafédirect - Fair trade, certified B Corp, re-invests up to 50 percent of profits.

Wandering Bear Coffee - USDA certified organic, Fair Trade certified, recyclable packaging

Ethical Chocolates

A stocking isn't complete without some tasty chocolates from old St. Nick. Choose one, or choose all three of our favorites to go in your stocking. We don't judge. Chocolates made with ethically sourced cocoa are among some of our most favorite things!

Askinosie Chocolate - Single origin cocoa beans that go straight from farm to sweet. You can view their full transparency report here

Coracao Chocolate - Fair Trade and USDA Organic Certified. Sustainably sourced & health-conscious chocolate.

Divine Chocolate - One of the only certified Fair Trade chocolate companies worldwide that is co-owned by cocoa farmers.

Ethical Teas

As much as we use tea for our morning caffeine fix, there's just something about tea that feels grounding and ritualistic. Whether you're buying for an avid tea drinker, or someone who only dabbles, these teas are sure to please. (The rhyme may or may not have been intentional...)

The Tea Spot - A Certified B-Corp Company for over 10 years, they also donate 10% of all profits to wellness programs around the world

Outwoken -Unique looseleaf teas that are grown by small-batch farmers around the world in at-home compostable packaging

Megan the Herbalist - Ethically sourced curated and custom tea blends honoring organic farming

Ethical Snacks

Stockings are the perfect place to introduce people you love to new snacks! Or, it's the perfect excuse to try out new ethically made snacks that you maybe wouldn't have tried otherwise. In any case, ethically made snacks are the perfect addition to any sustainably stuffed stocking. Here are a few of our favorites to snag a few goodies from,

Sun & Swell Foods - Ingredients Sourced from Organic Family Farms + Sustainable Packaging & Carbon Neutral Shipping

12 Tides - Ocean Friendly, Organic Kelp Snacks! 12 Tides is on a mission to reverse climate change, starting with the world's first regenerative organic kelp snack.

Dang Foods - B Corp Certified. Their mission is to offer innovative food products that taste dang good, while promoting health, happiness, and community.
